Sponsored Walk Update
Today, we were delighted to hand over cheques to the two charities supported by this year’s Sponsored Walk, Horticap and New Beginnings.
Each charity received over £4,400 thanks to the incredible generosity and effort of our school community. Both organisations were thrilled and very grateful for the support!
La Vie / Vida de Rossett
We're pleased to share the second edition of La Vie / Vida de Rossett, the magazine created by our talented students in Languages Club.
This issue focuses on the theme of festivals and features a mix of student-written articles and highlights from events we've held throughout the year.
Rossett Adult Learning
Rossett Adult Learning is a division of our school offering a wide range of part-time courses designed for adult learners who want to learn for pleasure. As an entirely self-funded centre, all profits go directly back to school to benefit our students.
There is a 5-week Babysitting and Paediatric First Aid course for students in Years 8 to 11 starting on Monday 15th September from 6.00–7.30pm. The course will be taught by Ms Rogers and the cost is £40.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students to build confidence and learn new skills. The course will cover:
- Babysitter and family rights and responsibilities
- Accident prevention
- Baby care skills
- Child protection issues
- Personal safety
- Handling home emergencies
- First aid training including the recovery position, infant and child resuscitation, choking, dealing with injuries and defibrillator training
St Michael's Hospice Midnight Glow Walk
This year's Midnight Glow Walk is taking place at 10pm on Saturday 13th September 2025...and it starts and ends at our school!
Saint Michael’s is a local hospice care charity providing vital support to individuals and families affected by terminal illness across the Harrogate district and we know it is a cause that holds a special place in the heart of our community.
