Our catering is provided in-house by a dedicated catering team who are passionate in sourcing local and seasonal produce, ensuring exciting dishes are made with the freshest ingredients. We listen carefully to the views of students as we design new menus and dishes from around the world whilst meeting and exceeding the guidelines issued by the DfE.
We have two main dining halls and the Year 7s and Sixth Form have their own dedicated areas allowing students to eat with their peers in a pleasant, sociable environment. Our fantastic catering team at Rossett School is lead by Head Chef, Steve Ashburn who is considered an exemplar in terms of his culinary abilities. Previously an executive chef working in high end hospitality, Steve has been an integral part of the Rossett team for 10 years and won Newcomer of the Year at the EDUcatering Excellence Awards which recognise outstanding individuals who have excelled in school meals.
