All students are set homework, which is both purposeful and beneficial to their academic progress. There is an expectation that this is completed fully and on time, to allow feedback to be provided where necessary.
The amount of homework will vary, but increases during each Key Stage. The demands of GCSE and A Levels are likely to increase the amount of homework set.
Parents/carers play an important part in the success of homework, by taking an active interest in work their children do at home and by providing a quiet working environment for them. BromCom provides a record of homework and an opportunity for parents/carers to have an overview of the tasks set.
The Learning Resource Centre is available for those students who wish to use this quiet space to engage with their home learning tasks.
