Rossett News Update - 5th September 2025

Welcome Back from Mr Milburn

I would like to thank our students for the very positive start we have had to the new year. It has been a joy to see how smart, enthusiastic and committed they have been this week, after a long holiday.

Our new students have been especially brilliant, demonstrating the Rossett values in abundance.  The staff have been quick to recognise this great start, with nearly 18,000 positive points awarded in just 4 days.

I am sure that many students are now ready for the weekend, but we are all looking forward to seeing them next week for more of the same. I hope they are too!

Harrogate Town Football Programme Update

Our Harrogate Town programme students recently faced Hartlepool in an action-packed match. Hartlepool started strongly, going 2–0 up in the first half. After the break, two quick goals from captain Colin brought Harrogate level, but Hartlepool responded swiftly to regain the lead. Two late goals sealed a 5–2 win for Hartlepool.

The Harrogate lads showed great spirit and are determined to bounce back in their next fixture away at Chesterfield.
