Rossett News Update - 2nd October 2026

A Big Thank You!

Thank you to all the families who came along on Saturday to be part of Rossett. We welcomed over 1,000 visitors, making it our biggest Open Event yet.

A huge thank you to our Student Leadership Team and all of our student volunteers who gave up their Saturday morning to help, it was fantastic to see so many of our students getting involved. They showed families round, helped out in subject departments, played music and represented Rossett with pride. We received some lovely feedback about them.

If you would like to see Rossett in action, we're holding two further open mornings on 8th and 20th October. To book a place, please click here

European Day of Languages

It was European Day of Languages last weekend and we've been celebrating in school throughout the week. This year's theme is 'Languages unite!', a reminder that languages can bring people and communities together.

There has been plenty going on across school with staff greeting their classes in different languages and Year 7 students taking part in a poster competition. Other classes have been getting involved in a Language Challenge as part of a world record attempt and some students have taken part in a t-shirt design competition too.

The Rossett Kitchen joined in too, serving up dishes from around Europe including bratwurst, haggis, goulash and paella!
