Rossett News Update - 28th November 2025

Presentation Evening 2025

We had a fantastic presentation evening last night, celebrating the hard work and successes of our students. We are very proud of each and every one of them.

A big thank you to our guest speaker, Josh Falkingham, former captain of Harrogate Town AFC, for joining us on the night. Best of luck to Josh and the Harrogate Town squad this weekend as he returns in a playing capacity to take on Barnet at The Hive!

And well done again to our Class of 2025!

Year 7 Disco

A big thank you to our lovely PTA for organising the Year 7 Disco last Thursday night. We're also very grateful to all the staff who supported the event, and our fantastic Year 11 helpers.

Our Year 7s had a fab evening, going full retro with a dance-off, some impressive break dancing and even a conga line!

Red Kite Rewilding Initiative

Last Friday, as part of the Red Kite Rewilding Initiative, we welcomed volunteers from ENGIE, once again led by Dr Jenny Marks, a plant scientist and ecologist who specialises in land management and nature conservation.

Thanks to their efforts, around 200 trees were planted and a new wildflower area has been created in our school grounds.

This work supports our aim to create an eco-friendly, biodiverse environment that enriches student learning and strengthens their connection to the natural world.

A big thank you to everyone involved!
