Just 2 weeks to go until our Sponsored Walk! To help everyone prepare, we've put together some top tips for making the most of the day...

We hope our students are busy collecting sponsorship from family, friends and neighbours as we count down to the big day!

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far via Arbor or GoFundMe

All donations will make a big difference to both our minibus campaign and The Sibling Group

Staff Development Day - Friday 3rd July

Next Friday, 3rd July, is a staff development day and school will be closed to all students.

Prom 2026

Our Year 11 students had a fantastic time at their prom on Wednesday night. It was lovely to see them as they arrived, dressed to impress. They behaved impeccably and literally danced the night away!

We wish them all the very best as they head into the wider world and can't wait to see them on Results Day on Thursday 20th August.

Year 6 Sports Morning

A big thank you to all of our new families who joined us for Sports Morning on Saturday. It was a fantastic morning and our new students threw themselves into every activity with lots of enthusiasm!

Well done to the students who won a goodie bag for demonstrating the Rossett 5Rs throughout the morning, chosen by our Sports Leaders.

We look forward to seeing everyone again at our upcoming induction days on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th July.

Uniform Arrangements - Back to Normal

The weather forecast for next week suggests a return to more typical summer temperatures. As such, our uniform expectations will also return to our standard summer uniform. The following uniform options are available for the remainder of the summer term:

  • Plain white shirt with school tie – shirts must be tucked in, with the top button fastened.
  • Plain white polo shirt – no logos or markings. This does not need to be tucked in and can be purchased easily from most high street retailers, often in multipacks.
  • Rossett blazer or black Rossett sweatshirt – please note that this does not include the PE hoodie, which should only be worn for PE lessons.

Headteacher's Awards

Well done to all the students who received a Headteacher's Award this week.

These students have been nominated by members of staff for exemplifying Rossett School's 5Rs culture of learning:

  • Year 7 - Harry E and Jack R
  • Year 8 - Harley W and James E
  • Year 10 - Ava K, Divija Y, Freya S, Elliette C-W, Martha M and Penny K
