Good Luck Year 11
We would like to wish all our Year 11 leavers the very best of luck as they begin their study leave.
This afternoon's leavers' assembly was just lovely. There was the obligatory shirt and yearbook signing, music from the Year 11 band and an emotional piano solo from Francesca. Awards were given out and some former staff members sent their best wishes (including some who are currently in Oz!). We even had a visit from the ice cream van.
Good luck in your exams, we're so proud of you all!

Auction of Promises - Programme of Lots
We're busy preparing for our upcoming Auction of Promises on Friday 12th June.
We would love to hear from you if you're able to donate a promise, prize or experience. All money raised will go towards our minibus campaign.
Tickets for the night are on sale now on Arbor (or feel free to drop by the main school reception with cash). £5 each including a welcome drink, bidding paddle and entry into the raffle!

Sponsored Walk 2026
This week, our students have started their fundraising preparations in form time ahead of our annual Sponsored Walk on Friday 10th July when the whole school will walk a 12km route in and around Harrogate.
Students have received their sponsorship forms (and stuck them safely into their student planners!) ready to start collecting sponsor money. We would be very grateful if they could ask family members, friends and neighbours, and anyone else who might be able to support them. If every student raised just £28, we would achieve our £12,000 fundraising target!!

Results Days 2026
Letters have gone home today regarding the results days for our GCSE and A-Level students:
- A-Level Results Day - Thursday 13th August 2026
- GCSE Results Day - Thursday 20th August 2026
We wish all our Year 11 and Year 13 students the very best of luck with their exams!

Crime & Punishment
Last week, our Year 10 History students visited Ripon Museums to support their studies on crime and punishment.
They took part in a mock trial in the historic courthouse and explored the fascinating history of law and order at the Prison & Police Museum.
Despite a few of them being locked up, we made sure everyone made it safely back to school!

Congratulations Christina & Imogen!
Congratulations to Christina Gabbitas who has been honoured with a special achievement award by The People's Book Prize for her anthology, Listen Up!
We are especially proud that the project was inspired by Imogen in Year 11 who wrote a poem, Blades of Silence, following Christina's visit to Rossett back in 2023 when she delivered a workshop on knife crime alongside North Yorkshire Police.
This is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved!
