Welcome Evening
We are excited to meet our new families at the Welcome Evening next Thursday, 26th March at 6.30pm.
We look forward to welcoming them to Rossett and sharing everything that makes our community so special.
World Down Syndrome Day
Thank you to everyone who joined Amelie in celebrating World Down Syndrome Day today by wearing odd socks or buying a treat from her cake stall! It meant a lot to Amelie to have everybody's support.
The cake stall made £105 which Amelie would like to donate to our school minibus fundraiser, thank you Amelie!

Non-Uniform Day - Friday 27th March
We are holding a non-uniform day on Friday 27th March to support our RS15 BUS Challenge minibus fundraiser!
While this is a non-uniform day, students will still be learning as normal. We therefore ask that:
- Clothing is practical, comfortable, and suitable for a full school day.
- Footwear must be safe and appropriate for moving around the site.
- If students have PE, they must still bring their PE Kit
- The choice of outfit must be appropriate for a school environment and respectful of others.
As part of the day, the Student Leadership Team will be organising a range of small stalls during the afternoon. Students will have the opportunity to visit these stalls, so they may wish to bring a small amount of additional money with them if they would like to take part.

Artist of the Week
Well done to Emerald in Year 7 who was our first Artist of the Week last week. She created an amazing coloured pencil piece inspired by Hannah Lipsey. Hannah even saw Emerald's work on our social media pages and commented on how amazing it was!
This week's Artist of the Week is Eli in Year 7 who created a sculpture inspired by Toy Story.
What a brilliant start to our new weekly celebration of creativity!

Year 11 School Photos
The Year 11 individual photos and year group photo will be taking place on Monday morning, from 9am.
Please ensure that students are in school on time and in full school uniform.
The photos will be available to purchase in the coming weeks.
Bingo Night Success
A huge thank you to everyone who supported our PTA Bingo Night last Friday, it was a fantastic evening.
The raffle was a big success, thank you to everyone who donated prizes, all money raised is going towards our RS15 BUS Challenge fundraiser!
Special thanks go to our lovely PTA for organising and to our bingo caller extraordinaire, Mr Tatterton.
Next up is the PTA Quiz Night on Friday 8th May...
Summer Uniform Options
As we approach the warmer months, we want to ensure our students stay comfortable while continuing to learn effectively.
The following uniform options will be available for the Summer term, after we return to school following the Easter holidays:
- Plain white shirt with school tie - shirts must be tucked in with the top button fastened.
- Plain white polo shirt - no logos or markings. This does not need to be tucked in. These can be purchased easily from the high street in multi-packs.
- Rossett blazer or black Rossett sweatshirt - please note, this does not include the PE hoodie which should only be worn for PE. Students should not wear outdoor coats / jackets / hoodies inside the school building. If they are cold, they should wear either the blazer or the Rossett sweatshirt as part of their uniform.
Tree Planting
Earlier this month, some of our Year 7 students planted trees around the school grounds as part of our ongoing mission to create a greener future for everyone.
In years to come they'll be able to stand by the trees they planted and see just how much they've grown.
