Rossett News Update - 20 June 2025

Sponsored Walk Update

The sponsored walk is now just ONE WEEK AWAY and we are very excited to share that we've now raised nearly £2,700 which is amazing!

A huge thank you for supporting your child's fundraising efforts. We are very grateful for your generosity and enthusiasm in helping raise money for these two important causes:

Horticap and New Beginnings

To get in the spirit, Mr Wilson has been out and about practising his walk...we particularly like the invisible dog...

Year 6 Sports Morning

On Saturday morning, we were very pleased to host a Sports Morning for our new Year 7 cohort who will be joining us in September.

It was an action-packed introduction to Rossett life, with students taking part in trampolining, badminton, football and dodgeball.

Well done to the five students who impressed by demonstrating our 5Rs throughout the morning. They were specially selected by our fantastic Year 10 Sports Leaders, who did an amazing job supporting the event. A big thank you to them for helping the day run so smoothly.

We can't wait to welcome our new Year 7s again at their induction days in July.
