The Rossett Sponsored Walk Returns
Harrogate Parkrun - Rossett Takeover
It wasn't the London Marathon but we had a brilliant morning last Saturday when we took over the Harrogate Parkrun on the Stray.
A big thank you to everyone who ran, walked or helped out, it was fantastic to see so many students and staff there, getting involved and showing such community spirit.

Kitty Takes the Stage
During the Easter holidays, Kitty in Year 7 took to the stage at Harrogate Theatre to star in Annie the Musical!
According to several staff members who were in the audience, Kitty was a natural. Congratulations, a star in the making.
Farewell to our American Exchange Partners
Last Friday evening, we held a farewell event for our Falmouth exchange students and their host families where they enjoyed a fantastic buffet (thanks to the Rossett Kitchen!) alongside a slideshow of memories from the US and UK legs of the exchange.
On Saturday, it was time to say goodbye after a brilliant two weeks together. Before heading off, some of the students squeezed in a trip to watch Harrogate Town play Notts County. While the result wasn't quite what we had hoped for, everyone had a great afternoon - and even got to meet Harry Gator!
A huge thank you again to our host families who gave the Falmouth students such a warm welcome and left them with so many unforgettable memories.
Eyes Down
Save the date for the Rossett PTA Bingo Night on Friday 16th May from 7 to 9pm in school.
There will be fabulous prizes for both a line and full house, snacks and soft drinks will be on sale, or BYO alcohol.
Tickets are just £5. Come along, have some fun and support our school!
Pancake Day!
The Languages Club journalists have been busy putting together this year's magazine all about festivals - and what better way to bring it to life than by trying out a traditional Breton crepe recipe this week before the magazine goes to print!
The first batch may have been a bit of a disaster, but the team showed great resilience and the end result was delicious!
The tried and tested recipe will be in the upcoming issue of La Vie / Vida de Rossett.
Summer Term Extra-curricular Sports Timetable
We're excited to share our extracurricular PE / sports club lineup for this term, there's something for everyone!

Staying Safe in the Sun
As the weather warms up, please ensure that students come to school with a water bottle each day (and some sun cream!).
With hayfever season in full swing, please also ensure that students have taken any hayfever medication before school. Alternatively it can be brought into school and left at the First Aid Office (clearly labelled with their name). Thank you.
Ash's Fundraiser for Play Action International
We're proud to share that former Rossett student, Ash Butler, will be taking part in Play Action International's Project Play: Kenya this Summer.
Ash will travel to Kenya to help transform an empty field at a local school into a vibrant and engaging playground.
