Thanks to the generosity of our school community, last Friday's Auction of Promises was a fantastic night. The total amount raised on the night for our minibus campaign was an incredible £4,027!!
We're very grateful to everyone who bid on and purchased one of the 48 auction lots, as well as to the families and local businesses who donated them. Ted, our auctioneer, was outstanding and made the evening extra special. Thank you to Miss Wilson for organising the whole event and making sure everything ran smoothly.
We hope everyone had a great time. We're now looking forward to our sponsored walk which is only 3 weeks away!
This year's sponsored walk is just 3 weeks away! We are raising money for The Sibling Group and our school minibus campaign and can't wait to set off! The whole school will be walking 12km in and around Harrogate, wearing their Rossett red with pride.
The Sibling Group have recently moved their sensory-based day centre, Oscar's Pathway, into our Hunter block and have been working hard to get the site ready for their service users. We're so pleased to support the amazing work they do.
Students have received their sponsorship forms (and stuck them safely into their planners!) ready to start collecting sponsor money. We would be very grateful if they could ask family members, friends, neighbours and anyone else who might be able to support them. If every student raised just £28, we would achieve our £12,000 fundraising target!!
We are so proud of our Year 11 and Year 13 students. They have navigated the exam season amazingly and shown resilience and determination.
Whilst most exams have now been completed, some students will finish on Monday so we wish them all the very best as they approach this final stage. We are looking forward to celebrating with them at their respective proms next week!

We're very excited to welcome our new Year 7 students this Saturday for our Sports Morning from 10am to 2pm. Students will have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities, including trampolining, football, badminton, dodgeball and capture the flag. It's a great chance for everyone to start getting to know each other ahead of the transition days in July.
Food and refreshments will be available to purchase until 12.45pm, and all new Year 7 students will receive a complimentary lunch voucher. All children must be accompanied by at least one parent/carer but additional family members and siblings are very welcome to come along and support!
We had a brilliant time at last year's event and we're looking forward to doing it all again!
We would like to wish our Year 10s the very best of luck as they begin their work experience placements next week. This is a great opportunity to gain insight into the world of work and learn new skills.
We're sure they will represent Rossett with pride and we look forward to hearing all about their week!
Well done to all the students who received a Headteacher's Award this week.
These students have been nominated by members of staff for exemplifying Rossett School's 5Rs culture of learning:

We will be celebrating the creative talents of our students at an art exhibition here in school.
Save the date for the opening night on Thursday 9th July!

The Return to School grant is available to both working and non-working farming families across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Although Phase 1 of the grant has now closed, Phase 2 opens at 12pm on Monday 29 June with another 2,000 grants available.
