If your child is due to start secondary school in September 2027, we would love to welcome you to our Open Event on Saturday 26th September.
You'll be able to tour the school, meet staff and students and get a feel for life at Rossett.
You'll also have the opportunity to meet our newly appointed Student Leadership Team (keep scrolling for more details!).
Following a rigorous application process, we are delighted to announce our Student Leadership Team for the 2026/27 academic year.
Throughout the process, students were assessed on their leadership potential, communication skills and commitment to the Rossett values. The successful candidates demonstrated maturity and professionalism and all of them want to make a positive contribution to our school community.
We would like to congratulate them and we're confident they will be excellent role models who will play an important role in their final year at Rossett.

Once again, the Rossett Kitchen has been awarded a 5 Food Hygiene Rating following an unannounced inspection earlier this week.
A huge well done (and thank you!) to our fantastic catering team for all their hard work in maintaining such high standards every day.

Our PTA's first meeting of the new school year will take place at 6.30pm on Monday 21st September at the Curious Cow.
Whether you're a regular volunteer, can help occasionally or would just like to find out more, please come along. New members are always welcome.

Well done to all the students who received a Headteacher's Award this week.
These students have been nominated by members of staff for exemplifying Rossett School's 5Rs culture of learning:
Please remember to ensure that your child's medical information on Arbor is up to date, including details of any allergies.
If your child has an Individual Healthcare Plan relating to their medical needs, please email a copy to the office if you have not already done so.
To help us support students with allergies, relevant information, including a photograph, may be shared with staff on a need-to-know basis. This information will be displayed as discreetly as possible and will not be visible to other students.
While we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment, we will continue to take reasonable and proportionate steps to reduce foreseeable risks and promote the safety and wellbeing of all students.
As e-bikes and e-scooters become increasingly popular, we would encourage families to ensure they understand the relevant laws and safety requirements before purchasing or using one.
The Crafty Llamas SEN Art Group is moving to Saturdays from 10 to 11am. No booking required and free to attend. The sessions are held above the Artizan shop on Oxford Street, Harrogate.
