This guidance is not only useful for parents and carers of students in Year 11 but for all parents and carers who would like to understand what the application process will look like for their child if they would like to apply in the future. Allies Week 2026

We will be celebrating Allies Week to support the LGBTQ+ community in the week commencing Monday 26th January. During the week, students will have the opportunity to take part in a short video by filming a message of support. There will also be activities during form time to raise awareness.

On Friday 30th January, students are invited to come to school wearing a rainbow accessory (with full school uniform) to show their support, with a suggested donation of £1 per student. Also on that day, we will be running a cake stall at breaktime and rainbow ribbon pins will be on sale too. Cake donations are very welcome, bought or made. All money raised will go to two charities: Just Like Us and Stonewall

We are allies!

Overdue Library Books

Our student librarians are currently working very hard in the library and they want to focus their efforts on overdue books

Please could all parents and carers encourage their children to return any overdue books to the Library (LRC).

Students will NOT be fined for any book that is overdue. Thank you for your support!
