We are very proud to announce that Ace in Year 9 has placed 3rd in the British Youth Championship fencing qualifying event!
The event took place in York and Ace showed exceptional skill and determination. This is a huge accomplishment, and we can't wait to see what happens next! Congratulations!

Two of our talented students, and sisters, Chloe and Natasha, are set to take to the stage in the classic musical production, "The Wizard of Oz" at Harrogate Theatre.
The performance will run from 26th to 29th March and promises to be a magical experience for all ages. The sisters' talent and dedication have earned them a well-deserved spot in the show and we can't wait to see them on stage.
Tickets for the show are on sale now and can be purchased through Harrogate Theatre's box office website here.
We wish Chloe and Natasha all the best for their performance.

Farewell to all our students and staff who are heading to Sierra Nevada on the half-term ski trip!
We hope they have an amazing time on the slopes and can't wait to hear all about their adventures.

Today's cake stall raised over £300 for our Heart of the Community campaign! Thank you to everyone who donated or bought cakes.
A special thank you to the lovely team of students who ran the stall, and to Ammarah, Layla, Rabiya, Samantha and Sky from our Student Council who created beautifully packaged roses to spread a little extra love and joy (and raise even more money for our campaign!).

Don't forget to buy your ticket for the Rossett PTA Annual Quiz Night on Friday 7th March!

There are still a few spaces available on Rossett Adult Learning's five week Babysitting and Paediatric First Aid course for Year 8 to 11 students. The course starts on Monday 24th February from 6.30pm to 8.00pm, taught by our very own First Aid Lead Ms Rogers and taking place in school in the LRC. The cost is £40.
This is a great way to gain confidence for babysitting and learn new skills. The course content will include important and useful issues around babysitting such as: the rights of the family and the babysitter, accident prevention, baby care skills and child protection issues, personal safety, and dealing with home emergencies. Students will learn essential first aid including the recovery position, infant and child resuscitation, choking, dealing with injuries and defibrillator training.
On successful completion of the course students will receive a St John's Ambulance Part 1 First Aid and CPR certificate, and a certificate in babysitting competency.
Bring along an antique or collectable item and Caroline will discuss and value some of these treasures. There will also be a charity auction featuring items generously donated by local businesses.
Tickets include a glass of prosecco or soft drink to enjoy and all proceeds from the evening will go towards supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of Rossett students which is fantastic!
