Rossett News Update - 13th March 2026

BINGO!

It's the PTA Bingo Night TONIGHT at 7pm and our resident bingo caller, Mr Tatterton, is ready and raring to go!

Tickets are just £5 each on Arbor. Raffle tickets can be purchased on the door and all money raised from the raffle will go towards our RS15 BUS Challenge fundraiser...we're on a mission to raise £15,000 to purchase a new school minibus.

If you can't make it tonight, please consider donating to our GoFundMe page here

RS15 BUS Challenge

In our latest RS15 BUS Challenge, some of our Year 8 and 9 students went head-to-head in a basketball showdown to see who could score the most points out of 15 shots...

Watch the video to find out who won!

Please donate to our minibus fundraiser by visiting our GoFundMe page or support us by liking, loving or sharing our videos to help spread the word. It all helps!

Celebrating World Down Syndrome Day 2026

Next Friday, 20th March, we will be proudly supporting Amelie in Year 11 by celebrating World Down Syndrome Day 2026.

We're asking students and staff to wear odd socks and Amelie will also be running a cake stall at breaktime. Cake donations are very welcome! And Amelie has kindly asked that all money raised goes towards our minibus fundraiser which is lovely, thank you Amelie!

Well Done Mia!

Mia and her friends in Year 7 ran a cake stall at breaktime today to support Big Yellow Friday. They raised a fantastic £108 for the Children's Liver Disease Foundation, a cause that is very close to Mia's heart.

Thank you to everyone who donated or bought treats to support Mia.

If you would like to make a donation to the Big Yellow Friday campaign, please visit the Children's Liver Disease Foundation website here

Living With Diabetes

Well done to Jake and Olivia in Year 7 who delivered an assembly to their year group today about living with diabetes.

It was very brave of them to speak so openly about their experiences. Thank you to them both for helping to raise awareness and understanding.
