Please Support Angharad's Half-Marathon Challenge

We are very proud of Angharad in Year 13 who will be running the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise money for CLAPA – the Cleft Lip and Palate Association.

This cause is very close to Angharad's heart, as she was born with a cleft palate and had an operation at just 9 months old. Angharad knows first-hand how important it is to have the right care and support, not only for those born with a cleft but also for their families.

By taking on this challenge, Angharad hopes to help others receive the same support that she did. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference.

PTA Annual General Meeting

Our PTA AGM will take place on Monday 15th September from 4to 5pm, here at school.

All parents and carers are invited to attend. We would love to see you there!

Student Leadership Council

Next week will see the re-launch of the Student Leadership Council.

Mr Grainger will speak to all year groups in assemblies throughout the week and encourage students to apply using the short application form. These will be available from Mr. Grainger, Pastoral Managers, and Student Reception from next week.

It is a great opportunity for students to get involved with the day-to-day running of the school, have their voice heard, and gain valuable experience as a student leader. Mr Grainger is looking forward to assembling a strong team for this academic year, so why not apply?

Harrogate Town Football Programme Update

Our Harrogate Town Rossett Partnership team delivered an excellent performance this week, drawing 2-2 against a strong Chesterfield side.

We are so proud of our students for representing both the club and school in such a positive way and wish them the best of luck for their next match.
