Lissa Haywood
Lissa has been a Rossett parent since 2022 when her son started in Year 7, and she is delighted to support the school as a parent governor.
As well as a parent perspective, Lissa brings over 20 years’ professional experience as a leadership coach and consultant in organisational change in the UK and internationally. She helps organisations in the private, public, and voluntary sectors to develop their people, communicate effectively, and create the right environment for growth and change. She works alongside senior leaders and top teams providing insight, support and constructive challenge to enable them to bring their best to their roles.
Lissa has a long-standing interest in education and is passionate about helping young people thrive. Early in her career, she spent two years in a progressive secondary school in Tokyo, Japan, teaching English to students who had experienced significant personal difficulties or disruption in their education. She has also volunteered in several UK primary schools to support early literacy and help build confidence in young readers.
Lissa hopes to draw on her experience to make a meaningful contribution to Rossett’s continued development and to help ensure it is a place where every student can succeed.
