Auction of Promises
We are holding an Auction of Promises on Friday 12th June to support our minibus campaign.
An Auction of Promises is a fun and community-spirited event where people “promise” a service, experience, or item which is then auctioned on the night. Instead of bidding on physical goods alone, guests can bid on things like help with gardening, babysitting, vouchers, or unique experiences.
Every winning bid goes directly towards raising funds for our new minibus, which will greatly benefit our students by supporting trips, activities, and wider learning opportunities. The event will be a fantastic night, with music and nibbles, and we are very pleased to have a professional auctioneer hosting the evening.
To make the evening a success, we are asking for your support through donations of promises.
These can be from individuals or local businesses, and every contribution – big or small – makes a real difference.
Examples of individual promises could include:
- Hampers
- An evening of babysitting
- An afternoon of gardening
- Car wash and polish
- A weekend stay at a holiday cottage
Examples of business promises could include:
- Spa vouchers
- Restaurant/ Cafe vouchers
- Car MOT / Valet
- Dog grooming/ walking vouchers
