New Parent App

SIMS parent app

Rossett is launching the new SIMS Parent App which will offer parents/carers a convenient way to update contact details to ensure school can get in touch with you, for example should there be a need for the school to close due to inclement weather.

Further features will be rolled out later in the year.

We are aware that some parents/carers have experienced difficulties using the code provided to register for the app.  If you are unable to access the app or if you have not received an email asking you to sign up to the SIMs Parent App, please send an email to data@rossettschool.co.uk requesting contact.  Due to a staff training today this will be addressed on Monday  7 October.

Parent Governor Election

As part of our continual review of the skill-sets in our Governing Body we are always looking to hear from parents who may have a background in education, governance, law, accountancy or similar who would like to contribute to the future development of the school.

We are looking specifically for at least two parents who would be prepared to put their names forward in our latest recruitment drive for parent governors.

Nomination forms are available from this link Parent Governor Information 2019 and should be returned by Monday 21 October.  The elections will take place prior to the Full Governing Body meeting on Thursday 12 December 2019. Successful candidates will then be contacted.
