All student property should be clearly named. Any students looking for lost property should ask at Student Reception.
Named items will be returned to the rightful owner. Non-named items will be stored for a period of time after which they will be disposed of or washed and sold second hand or used as loan items.
The school has no insurance for items lost by, or stolen from, students. The school can only be considered liable for any loss should an employee have specifically accepted responsibility for the safe-keeping of the lost or stolen item. Valuable items or significant sums of money should not normally be brought to school. Should this be necessary they should be given to a teacher or the Finance Office for safe keeping.
