Rossett School Sponsored Walk - Friday 23 September 2022
This walk has been a popular event in the school calendar for over twenty years and will be one of many activities taking place this academic year as the school celebrates its 50th anniversary. Students will begin the 20km walk from school heading via roads and footpaths to Norwood Village Hall and back.
This is a whole school event and the aim of the day is to have a great community experience whilst raising money for both the school and our chosen charities.
- Rossett ‘Basics and Beyond’ – a fund for those students and their families who need a helping hand
- Opora Network helping Ukrainians with starting new lives in the UK
- The British Red Cross, a charity the Queen was patron of for 70 years, who are currently working to alleviate the effects of flooding in Pakistan as well as continuing the COVID vaccination programme.

Although it is also possible to sponsor students by donating cash and we would ask that students bring any money raised in an envelope marked with their name and leave it in main reception by Wednesday 19 October.
