Rotary  Club Technology Competition

On Tuesday this week Mrs Phelps accompanied three groups of students to St Aidans School to take part in the STEM Rotary Club technology competition.

Rotary Technology Tournaments are a challenging and enjoyable way for young people to enrich their STEM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).  The students, who were in teams of four, had to solve an interactive technology-based task and were required to design, develop and build a solution with the materials supplied. We are delighted to let you know that our Year 9 Foundation level team were awarded first place.  Congratulations and well done to all of the participants and to Mrs Phelps for accompanying the trip.  We are delighted for the winning team, Chloe Blackburn, Oscar Cookman, Jack Bailey and Martha Buono.
