Year 8: Reality check/Financial Awareness – the day offered students the opportunity to participate in workshops and simulations of working life.
Year 9: Sexual Awareness – students considered methods of contraception, how to avoid sexually transmitted diseases and they also learnt about sex and the law and specifically informed consent.
Year 10: Personal Safety Day – students looked at a variety of subjects including online safety, fire safety, emotional wellbeing, homelessness and mental health.
‘Who Do We Think We Are’ Day
Today our Year 7s have experienced a whole range of activities looking at identity and how we are all diverse, original and unique members of the community. They have had cultural experiences; looked at faiths around the world; practised yoga; and danced their way to the end of the day.
