Is Your Child Too Ill for School?

It can be hard to know when to keep your child off school when they feel unwell.  The UK Health Security Agency has some good advice for reducing the spread of winter illnesses.

Please also refer to NHS guidance and remember that students should not miss school on a precautionary basis.

Annual Careers Fair - NEXT WEEK!

We are excited to announce that our annual careers fair will take place on Wednesday 11th December from 9am - 1pm. Building on the success of last year, a range of employers, Further Education colleges and universities will be attending to talk to and inspire our students. This week's careers bulletin introduces all the employers and the range of opportunities they have available. We hope this will help our students to feel informed and involved, and give them the opportunity to talk to their parents and carers about the sort of information they could gather, and the questions they could ask.

Year 9 Football - On A Winning Streak!

Our Year 9s had another fantastic week.  During a friendly against Harrogate High School, they were 3-0 down at half time and the outlook was bleak.  The whole team showed resilience and came back from the brink to score multiple times and secure a 4-3 win!!!  Congratulations!

Yorkshire to Ukraine Campaign - One Week To Go

There is still one week to go!  Please keep those donations coming for the Yorkshire to Ukraine appeal - anything that you would find useful if you were evacuated from your home to a place of safety.

Food, blankets, bedding, clothing, shoes, cleaning products, baby items, candles, camping equipment, sleeping bags, sanitary or washing products and toys. These should be in a condition that you would be happy to use, or give to your children. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far!
