The Rossett School PTA
In the past couple of years the Rossett School PTA has spent thousands of pounds on materials and resources for use across the school. They have bought new curtains for the hall and stage, replacing the old original ones! They have also provided resources for the Art department, films for the Modern Foreign Languages faculty and Media Club, sewing machines for the Textiles department and new software for Business Studies, ICT and Access & Inclusion. They have bought new outdoor furniture for the Sixth Form block and Qwizdom, which is an interactive learning interface that can engage and aid in the assessment and progress of students, particularly inthe retention of factual information.
Most recently they have purchased new hurdles for the sports department and are currently raising money for new music stands.
These extra items will enhance the work of the teachers and benefit the students within the school.
There is more to do as the drive to improve the quality of your child's scholastic experience increases every year. We urge all parents to become active supporters of Rossett School and the PTA is an ideal vehicle for this to happen.
