Poppy Appeal

We would like to say 'thank you' to everybody who supported our various events for the annual poppy appeal.  This year we marked 100 years since Armistice and the end of the First World War in a number of ways; part of this was students selling poppies in school.  We raised over £270 for the Royal British Legion in this way.

Year 7 Christmas Disco

Over 110 Year 7 students attended the PTA's Year 7 Christmas Disco held at Rossett School on Thursday evening.  DJ Dent, a former Rossett student, provided the music and the event was a great success and enjoyed by all - particularly the glow sticks! Thank you to the PTA for organising this event and to the Sixth Form students who helped on the evening.

The robots are able to perform a series of tasks, such as climbing ramps and collecting components. The students have also been testing the speed of their creations! The group are hoping to compete in the annual Lego Mindstorm competition next Spring  where their robots will be put to the test against those from other schools in the region.
