Harrogate & Craven Athletics Competition
Last Saturday six of our Rossett students represented Harrogate and Craven at the North Yorkshire schools’ athletics competition. Many gained personal best scores and enjoyed the high level competition. Their results were:
Austen Glazier – 800m – 2.14 minutes – 4th junior boys
Jaymol Grant – 200m – 24.0seconds – 2nd intermediate boys and 1st in relay – new county record
Luca Grant – 200m – 25.8seconds – 5th junior boys
Karleen Menes – javelin – 24.89metres – 3rd intermediate girls
Issy Smith – 100m – 13.00 seconds – 1st and 200m – 27.3 seconds – 1st
Elijah Walsh – high jump – 1.70m – 1st intermediate boys
Congratulations to them all- it is an excellent achievement to represent your country and Issy Smith may have a call up to the English Schools!
