A Level  Geography Field Trip

Our A level  Geography students head off on a four day residential next week with Mrs Martin and Miss Horsfall. As  part of their preparation for their AS Geography exam students will spend a day in Hornsea  collecting data for two separate studies. One is to examine the impact of coastal management and the other to consider how endogenous factors have influenced the character of the town. They will stay in Beverley from where they will visit places along the Holderness coastline collecting data for their individual studies based upon theory from their units of study coastal systems and changing places. It is always a fantastic week for research, consolidation of learning and giving students the opportunity to see Geography in action.
