Zainab Patel (Year 7) has appeared in an article in the Yorkshire Evening Post encouraging more girls to get involved in cricket. Zainab, who plays cricket for Rossett and Shadwell Cricket Club, is bucking the trend after results of a recent study released this week revealed boys are far more likely to play sport outside of school hours. Zainab was delighted when she was selected to play for the school and is now encouraging more girls to play the game both in and out of school time.
